The movie confab takes on that subject. Famous American comedian, Adam Sandler stars as Michael Newman, who is a talented architect with a good job, a bewitching wife and two lovely kids. Micheal is frustrated that he cant ever find the correct remote control when he finally has a moment of time to watch TV and so he goes looking for a planetary remote control. He drives past BestBuy and ends up at, of all the places, whap, Bath and Beyond. This seems pretty heavy product placement as having been through the Bed and Bath sections he ends up in the Beyond. when he meets Morty (Christopher Walken), a loopy sales clerk, he earns the answer to his prayers: a sorcerous remote that allows him to bypass lifes little distractions with progressively hysterical results. His life takes an unexpected turn when he buys the universal remote to control his TV and stereo. The remote turns out to be more more universal than he expected.
It does not scarce control the machines in his house. It controls his whole life. The remote can still his dog when its barking, and he can fast forward not bad(p) past a quarrel with his wife. He even finds that he can travel back in time to see his life at different points.
However, this blessing turns out to be a curse in disguise. Soon Michael finds that the remote is haughty him, not the other way around. There is so much temptation to skip straight to the fun or pleasurable parts of his life that he finds he is missing a lot.
