Open Ended Problem Summary
Examples of business offices can be found in everyday situations. In this task we were able to locate functions in news binds and observe the domain and range of each of these functions. A function is, in mathematics, an expression, rule, or law that defines a relationship between peerless variable (the independent variable) and another variable (the dependent variable).(Hosch, 2006.) The functions domain consists of all the possible inputs, and the range includes the possible values that ar output.
There is an article in iodin of our local newspapers titled Lanier Tech, local schools work out registration Deal. In this articles the Technical school and the local steep schools go away give students the opportunity to take college courses while in mettlesome school. They will get credit for the college course. Tuitions, fees and some books are paid for through the Hope Grant. We have five high schools that are taking part in this program. The superintendents think that this will benefit the students. They can earn college and high schools credits at the same time. The function depicted is the enrollment deal. The domain in this case is the schools, and the range would be the education received by the students.

The unemployment rates in Georgia dropped one tenth of a percentage from 10 percent in September to 9.9 percent in October. Estimates are that there are 240,600 long term unemployed persons in the state of Georgia (input).
