Jehovah get wordes argon known both around the world. Im sure all of us can recall an
instance when weve seen a Jehovah Witness walking around our neighborhoods or even
knocking on our own front doors. Whether or not we agree with them or give them the
time of day to explain their purpose, theyre lull a growing and popular religion. Not
only locally, exclusively globally as well. They are very active in missions and spreading the
word of Jehovah. As of today, there are all over 7 million Jehovah Witnesses
practicing world wide.
Lets begin with the history of this religion. Jehovah Witness was started in 1879
and was founded by Mr. Charles Taze Russell (1852-1916), a businessman from
Pennsylvania. Because of his vigorous studies of the give-and-take, Russell concluded that there
was much to the Bible and Christianity that should be taught and practiced. The Jehovah
Witness headquarters are located in Brooklyn, New York.
The sacred scripture utilise for this religion is: the New World Translation of
Scriptures. Other textual matter that the Jehovahs refer to for practicing and teaching are called
The Watchtower and Awake. Their account book is similar to the one used in practical
Christianity.
However, the script of the Jehovah Witnesses takes the original ideas from
our bible very much appear of context. The bible isnt meant to be studied the way military man
perceive it. Its meant to be studied the way god created it. In black and white, no
changes. If everyone could just read the bible and make their own interpretation then
religion wouldnt exist. This religion also refers to God as Jehovah. They dont believe
God was a trinity.
The Jehovah Witnesses practice uncompromising monotheism. They believe that Jesus is the
