* Discovered by Robert Ballard on September 1st, 1985
* Logbook of the Californian enabled Ballard to thought the speed and direction of drift of the lifeboats.
* The Californian was between phoebe bird to ten miles away from the large at the time of the mishap and reported in its log that they had experienced drift
* Also Ballard knew that the Titanic had to be north of where the lifeboats were found
* Titanic stemmed from a mystic United States Navy investigation of two wrecked atomic submarines
* For 6 days, the Argo looked the sea floor and nothing came up. However, on the suffer day the team discovered a boiler
* How the Titanic Sank: (Gary)
* When a ship it sinks it leaves a path of junk (objects from indoors the ship or objects breaking off). Depending how deep the vessel sinks this debris can be scattered over a large distance. On a shorter descent, the debris falls more or less vertically. However, as the Titanic sank 21/2 miles a huge debris field of study was expected. A new search strategy was formed. This time they would first look for the debris field rather than the Titanic herself.
* Things Learned From Wreckage: (Gary)
* The ship did not hold back a large gash as previously thought, only actually a series of punctures
* It was confirmed that the ship give away into two while going down
* Technology Used to Find the Ship: (Jordan)
* The Argo, used by Robert Ballard, was an unmanned deep-towed sled that carried light-sensitive video equipment
* Capable of reaching 6,000 meters
* ROV Jason was launched in 1988
* Had better imagination and maneuvering
* Tested fiber-optic cables in deep sea
