To the Virgins, to Make Much of Time by Robert Herrick

Robert Herricks poem To the Virgins, to Make Much of Time is a lyric poem that expresses his soulal and emotional feelings towards how a soul should live his or her action. The poem promotes the saying live life to the fullest. Herrick teaches the reader to cherish the measure that you have and not to hook it by waiting to seize opportunities that you are given. Readers are persuaded to commence advantage of the opportunities that are presented without making reckless decisions. The main paper of the poem is about virgins and how they shouldnt wait to become sexually involved with a lover, but I feel that this poem can be used at any clock in a somebodys life.
In the first stanza, a go is used to symbolize life and violator. The life of a lift is used as a metaphor for time. When a rise first blooms it is beautiful and strong, but a rose loses its beauty and becomes frail quickly, further like time passes a individual before they k to daytimetime it. Not only do lines 1-4 liken the beauty of the youth to roses, but it also describes the uncertainties of a persons life. Like the death of a rose that just bloomed, people can die before what others believe is their time to go. Herrick uses the first stanza to persuade readers to do what they necessity to do now rather than later because they may never get the calamity again.
