Catcher and The Rye is written by J.D. Salinger. The story is told by Holden in the future thinking close to past memories. In the middle of the night Holden wakes up to Mr. Antolini patting his head in a creepy way. This causes Holden to leave the next night. Holden after this serves up with a plan to move out west.
