The outgrowth of the poem starts off with just describing waves coming in from the ocean and how they are never ending. One wave comes after the early(a) none stop, no break just a apply crashing that never ends. If one reads closely into these lines they will realize this. You bear see this because frost says Great waves looked over others coming in, /And theme of doing something to the shore/That water never did to land before. If you continue to read on in this poem you will come to the credit that this is no normal day at the ocean and the waves are in no way small and quit. He does this in these lines The clouds were low and hairy in the skies, / Like locks blown onward in the gleam of eyes.
Frost continues on to let us know exactly how powerful these waves are by describing how the shore is lucky to be O.K. by a drop The shore was lucky in being support by cliff, and then saying that the cliff is lucky to be backed by the continent The cliff in being backed by continent; If these were not their then the waves would just lapse going repealing anything in their way, but this is not possible for the originator that these obstacles are in their way. To me this is like God put these obstacles in the way on purpose so that the waves could not destroy more.
Then the poem gets really interesting when frost writes these lines It looked as if a night of dark intent/ Was coming, and not entirely a night, an age/. Someone had better be on the watch for rage....If you want to get a full essay, order it on our website: Ordercustompaper.com
